Growth is an integral part of life. We never want to feel stuck in one place. We always want to get better every day.
Spiritual growth is the same. We want to live in the fullness of Christ, bearing the fruit of the grace and knowledge of the gospel. We want to grow in the grace of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and build our relationship with God.
Our spiritual journey begins in the Word of God and the knowledge of the Son of God's love for humanity. We started our journeys as infants in Christ. We were given milk, not solid food because we were not ready.
As we grew, we realized that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope. We, as the church, are God's body, joined and held together through love and grace.
In today's Bible study, we will read the Scriptures on growth which bear much fruit. Let God's word sink deep into your heart and build your relationship with God. We have eternal lifee with God to look forward to, and the day of Christ's return to earth will be one of glory and power.
