Reflection
You are not an accident, an afterthought, or a mistake. Before the foundation of the world, God chose you. Not because you were impressive, talented, or worthy, but because He loved you. You are chosen—hand-picked by the Creator of the universe.
Peter piles up identity markers: chosen race, royal priesthood, holy nation, God's own possession. Each one speaks of extraordinary value. You belong to royalty. You are set apart for sacred purposes. You are God's treasured possession.
The world will try to define you by your performance, your appearance, your achievements. But God defines you by His choice. And His choice is irrevocable, unshakeable, and eternal. Today, let this truth settle deep: you are chosen.
